The project concerns the adaptation to type B (4 lanes) of the connecting section between the S.S. 131 and the new Sassari Olbia road. The route of lot 0 involves the municipalities of Codrongianos and Ploaghe in the province of Sassari, spread over about 2.4 km, starting at the junction at km 192 + 700 of the S.S. 131 and ends at the intersection with the S.S. 597 existing where lot 1 of upgrading the state road begins. The project also includes the adaptation, in the configuration of Strada type B, of the existing SS131 in approach to the aforementioned junction for an overall development of approximately 2.2km.
The type “B” section adopted includes two separate carriageways, each consisting of two 3.75 m lanes with a 1.75 m quay on the right and a 0.50 m wharf on the left, separated by a 2.50 m wide central traffic divider .
The intervention can therefore be divided into 5 main parts:
1. Adaptation of S.S. 131;
2. Bragella Sassari – Olbia;
3. Sv. Junction 131;
4. Sv. Junction 597;
5. Secondary roads.
For all the coplanar sections, the section adopted, upon specific request of the Superintendency for Cultural and Environmental Heritage, is characterized as an “agricultural” road with pavement in stabilized mixed material connected with “soilsement” technology also having an anti dust function.
